Diagnostic Assessments

Picture 2.png

A full diagnostic assessment report is approx. 25 pages in length.

Prior to the assessment taking place the assessee or parent/carer must complete a background information questionnaire. This informs the tests used on the day and provides a picture of developmental and educational history.

The assessment itself takes around 3 hours and can take place at your place of study or home. This time is for the administration of relevant psychometric tests and to discuss strengths, weaknesses and areas of concern. You can have a break during testing so having a drink and snacks with you is advisable.

The tests cover a variety of areas including memory, non verbal reasoning, verbal reasoning and processing speeds.

I complete the report which will include standardised scoring, a full interpretation of results, recommendations and a score summary. It takes approx. 2-3 weeks to write up the report.

The report format is suitable for schools, colleges and universities and can be used for GCSEs, A levels, BTechs and undergraduate or postgraduate degrees. It has no expiry date so can be used in the workplace too.

The report can also be used to apply for Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) at university. This may include 1:1 study support, e-books, lectures recordings, dictation software and examination access arrangements.
